Blogging’s been minimal lately, partly due to my back, and just plain busyness.

I’ve got like a hundred posts burried in the back of my head, and will be  posting frequently again real soon.

As for now, check out MAD magazine’s first 100 minutes of the Barack Obama Presidency.

Baby Invasion

by Lon on November 1, 2008

From a recent issue of Toronto Life:

Hipster parents are clogging cafes with their king-size strollers and inflicting their unruly toddlers on the childless masses. Is grown-up space a thing of the past?

What do you think?  Has baby idol hit your city?

Fastest growing churches…?

by Lon on November 17, 2007

I just stumbled onto Outreach Magazine’s annual “Fastest Growing Churches” list.

Here are the official stats in pdf form.

Now I haven’t looked in-depth at this list, nor am I really in any place to say anything like this – but here were two thoughts that came up

1. Would God make a list like this? (well, course he wouldn’t because he’s God and he should know better)

2. Is this really a list of the fastest growing churches, OR is it mostly a list of churches that refuse to send people out to plant more churches?

I could be WAY off base here, but it’s getting late in the night…
