Here are some more...

sock puppets, making cookies and decorating them, finger-painting with pudding in the bathtub (she can eat it too!) also shaving cream on a table or shower wall is easily cleaned up and fun to make pictures in. We got Abbey a $5 kids tent that provided endless hours of make believe and fun in the living room. You could take her to the park and have her give names to the trees she sees. At the grocery store, ask her to name the produce, "B" is for banana type activity. Endless hours of fun can be had with pipe cleaners, you can get a huge bag at any craft store for cheap.

Have a dance party...play crazy fun music and dance around the house or if you're out let her listen to your ipod and dance to the music.

Of course you could put her to work around the house...little ones LOVE to "dust" and "wipe" things up...and she could help sort out everything red in the laundry, or everything white. Clean the tub with tons of bubbles. If your dishwasher has a removable silverware holder pull it out and let her put the spoons and forks in.

http://www.makingfriends.com/f_Friends.htm Here's a site with cut out paper dolls.

and storynory.com is your friend!

Okay that's enough...the young ones are my favorite ages...they're all imagination! Abbey and I used to have great fun...and Max is just starting to appreciate play and make-believe stories!

What does Steller like to do? As it gets colder, you'll want more "inside" things, right?

Washable markers come off of mirrors like magic...well just with water and a paper towel.
There are always story times
Toy stores that you could just do playing...apple store for playing on the kid computers...blow up an air mattress in the livingroom and let her jump like a trampoline...gelato cafe and try the different flavors with the little spoons...scavenger hunt in stores...first one to find a purple bird wins a prize...collect rocks and color with crayons...give her a camera and let her take pictures of her day...

Just some ideas.
