We can’t expect him to present a balanced view of Christians, or for that matter any people of faith, since that isn’t his purpose.
It doesn’t take a lot of searching to find people whose expressions of their faith are weird/closed-minded/unattractive. But do we (Christians, the church, whatever) need to give him so much to work with?! I tend to cringe at much of what is presented in the media by Christians.
But still God’s grace reaches out to all of us. Even in our weirdness. Thanks be to God!
