]]> By: stephen http://solarcrash.com/2008/09/questions-on-christ-mission/comment-page-1/#comment-23475 stephen Sun, 21 Sep 2008 21:51:31 +0000 http://solarcrash.com/?p=1136#comment-23475 wow, lon. you have a way of making me think more than my average blog subscription. okay here goes: difference between a christian and a humanitarian - i guess motive....although i have to say that in many cases the humanitarian motive is more purely christ-like than the typical christian motive. generally speaking, a humanitarian isn't giving something in order to get something. wheras the christian a lot of times is giving in order to convert. then again, i think christians and humanitarians alike are at least subconciously trying to get points from God. do i love christ more, or the cause of christ? wow, i guess honestly i'd have to say the cause of christ. i've never "met" christ like i meet people in the real world. as i'm living out the cause of christ (which i would simply define as loving people) it puts me in contact with people. i was made for this. but it's hard for me to complete the circle and realize that i have a love for people because of my love for christ. it's not as tangible... head on a skateboard? i guess i'd be yelling out directional instructions....NO! turn left!
