Homer Simpson - belly

A good friend of mine yesterday shows off his recent gut (due to over eating because he suspected he had a tape worm) and says

- Six packs are all hype

- My gut is like a work of art

- People with bellies look friendlier

I thought it just hilarious, and I still chuckle at the way he said it. But it brought up an interesting thought… what do you say to a person in a life or ministry context when who they are, might never become who everyone else says they can be?

ie. be skinnier, be smarter, be bolder, be a better dancer, be looser, be more passionate, be successful, be holy…
