Al, insightful response - it's amazing how often God works with both sides of our issues, thanks so much for commenting!

The phrase 'living unintentionally' caught my eye. I am discovering that if I live intentionally, I will find that God sends me unintentional opportunities. Sometimes I get caught up with trying hard to meet people so I can form friendships so I can grow relationships so I can be God's love to them so that they discover that God loves them so that they will receive His love. The process is sound enough, but doesn't necessarily happen. Then God totally surprises me by dropping me in a particular situation where very quickly the other person is receiving God's love through me, even before I got around to 'intentionally' trying to make it happen.
The intentionality is me choosing to be who God intends me to be. The unintentionality is Him providing experiences where it all comes together. It removes the pressure of trying to orchestrate the details.
