U2 3D…
February 29, 2008
For our date night yesterday we went to see U2 3D. It was great to be able to do nothing else for 80 minutes but appreciate their music (that and watch four sweaty old men prance no stage).
I’m glad they played some of their older stuff, but they’ve just got too many good tunes to really play all in one concert. The most spiritually intriguing part was where Bono chants
Jesus, Jew, Muhammad, it’s true…
All sons of Abraham.
Father Abraham, speak to your sons.
Tell them, No more!

Hey, where’d you see it? Liz and I was looking for it, but I thought it left the theatres weeks ago!

Hey Alan… it’s limited release, it hops from theatre to theatre for a week or two… i was trying to see it at paramount downtown, but missed it as well. right now it’s playing in woodbridge, mississauga, and empress/yonge… we went to the woodbridge one, it was completely empty… we had the best seats in the house!

The show sounds neat. I have viewed laser U2, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Doors, and Rush and that is a cool experience as well.

Although I love U2’s music, I am very concerned by Bono’s co-exist chant for “jesus, jew, mohammed”…if you go to the co-exist website, you will see what they are promoting in more detail…universalism at its core.
Jesus Christ is Lord…there is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved.
