Many of the ideas in it parellel different themes that were presented in Richard Horsley's "Jesus and Empire." I purchased this book in hopes of gaining insight into the city of Colossians. Through prayer we have identified ourselves with the book of Colossians again and again. Five of our six core values have scriptural basis from Colossians. Many questions now linger as to how to proceed with trying to unpack different elements and thoughts that have been raised from this read.
