man with hands in air

I did my first baptism yesterday.

After the service I had people asking me, who I was, if I was a pastor, or if I was ordained…

…to which I replied that the Scriptures describe Jesus telling those who follow him to go, make disciples, and baptize… that means all of us, not just the upper tier of the religious order.

Wonderful!

Last month I had got to do a baptism and also a wedding in the same weekend. When I went to fill out the marraige certificate for the couple it asked what my religious organization/affilliation I was with as well as my title. I didn’t know what to put so I wrote, “Body of Christ, Right Leg” … fortunately the State accepted it.
