Best friend…

The previous sunday, I was wondering the halls during a worship gathering (our church plant meets in a Monte Carlo Inn), and had my best conversation of the weekend with an 11 year old boy staying at the hotel.
We instantly connected because he had a mohawk and I guess it was similar to my current faux-hawk.
He had a Leaf’s jersey on, and was in town to celebrate his 11th birthday.
He asked me why people in the other room were singing the words “You are holy”.
We talked about everything from God, to hobbies, to Stellar, and throughout the conversation he would high-five me and tell me, “You’re my best friend, right now”.
Odd thing was that right at that moment, he was my best friend too.
