TED talks rocks. TED (Technology, Entertainment, and Design) has evolved into a real significant voice/platform.
Their mission is to provide ideas worth spreading. The annual conference now brings together the world’s most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes).
Here’s one from Bono on Africa from 2005. An absolutely phenomenal talk.
You can subscribe to the audio/video talks via itunes – talks by everyone from Richard Dawkins, to Malcolm Gladwell, to Steven Levitt, to the google boys, to Seth Godin, to Rick Warren, to Bill Clinton.
Absolutely awesome resources for anyone who hopes to make a difference on this planet.
