I just re-read my last post and I hope it didn’t sound like ‘my city’ was any better than any of yours. I believe God is looking to redeem every nook and cranny of all creation.
Whether your city is diverse or not, urban or rural, or whatever else, where God has placed you is likely desperately in need of someone like yourself, putting your heart into it, knowing it and loving it.

i didn’t take it as you saying your city was better – rather i heard a passionate heart that engages context well. loved it!
