Makers of Fire - Montreal
August 22, 2007

The Makers of Fire is a FUTURE Oriented Think tank and Leadership Training Event that will becoming through Montreal in October this year. It’s led by Alex McManus (brother of Erwin, Creator of Voxtropolis, and founder of the International Mentoring Network, amongst other things).
It’s $79 at the door, but I’ve got two tickets for $25 each if anyone else is interested.

Hey Lon,
I love the library thing and I went ahead and started rolling mine out. Do you know if there is a way to put this on vox?

hey Marty, my only issue with librarything is that it caps you at two hundred books unless you pay for it. i’m looking into possibly paying… but there seem to be other emerging services that might offer the same functionality with no cap… i’m waiting and seeing…

I noticed the limited free as well. I’ll try it for awhile and see what else comes. I guess more of my question is do you know how to enter that HTML from the library thing into a sidebar widget on voxtropolis? Is that even possible.

Hey Marty, I believe you can on voxtropolis. go to ‘look and feel’ -> add sidebar widgets -> add a ‘text box’ -> and insert code… mine is currently
and then copy and paste your customized code from
http://www.librarything.com/widget
hope that helps man!

Sorry Lon, I couldn’t get it to work. What are you using? Your comments look pretty darn sexy, as does your blog. Nice site!
