Your sins, my sins…

by Lon on June 1, 2007

What’s worse,

living a reckless, selfish, sinful, and sad life,

OR living a wonderful and redeemed life while never sharing it with anyone?

The sin and brokenness of the world, is my sin and my brokenness as well.

ignoring the poor

(I’m not equating the poor with selfish in anyway, I just thought the image was through provoking yet so typical)

Great question! I guess I am left wondering how wonderful my life could be if I wasn’t living it communally and sharing it with others. Just a thought.

We have friends doing both, and I know which one frustrates me more. It frustrates me like nothing else to see redeemed friends sharing it only with themselves and other redeemed friends. What’s the point? A ticket to heaven?

Shaula, thanks for sharing, it’s amazing how those concepts never even occurs to many people.

Casey thanks for tuning in. You’re right on, a ticket to heaven falls far too short of what we’re called to.
