So much to say…
July 6, 2006
Lately, I’ve had so much to say, and so little time. I don’t know where to start.
For now, here’s a picture that my buddy and former room-mate Brian made of us years back. It’s Lon vs. Brian in Face Off.
Ever feel like you had to be someone else in order to accomplish your goals and dreams?

I have definitely felt like that, but right now I feel like I can do anything.
I actually really like NIN and I used to listen to their song Closer all the time. I heard the lyrics from “Hurt” from Johnny Cash first, though. I am glad I am not in that place. I hope you never are again.

Hey Lon,
I can relate to the lots to say no space to get it out. I hope things are going well for you. Recently got back from Atlanta with a bunch of youth. This transition from youth ministry to church planter has been tough lately for no other reason then I’m mourning my departure from where I have been.
Blessings,
Marty

Hey Marty, it’s not necessarily a bad thing when we’re living lives so full that we don’t have time to write about it. At some point I guess we all need to stop and reflect.
I’d love to hear more about your transition… church planters really gotta stick together, it’s deadly out there!
