It's usually laid upon some new Christian who barely knows Genesis from Galatians. In addition to that they don't know their own soul any more because God just changed the rules on them.<br /><br />So I guess I'd restate this as: eventually, if I have a growing relationship with God, that good news will show to everyone else. He possesses us, and begins to set right all the personality traits that we've messed up in response to our sick world. This, naturally, makes the person so affected stand out. No… but… I can’t help but wonder… have we missed the point of God’s mission? Is His mission really just about the good news…. always coming to us on its way to someone else…? Does it ever have a parking place, a person it (the good news) rests on?

Or is His mission really US? The Good News (Jesus) coming to US — As Rob Bell said, “not man getting to God, but God coming down to man.”

And then our mission becomes to pass that Good News along to others… because, in all honesty, when the news really is good, how can anyone keep it to themselves??
